After re-installation of a fresh copy of Norton 360, the problem was unchanged. I have already ready done an uninstall on Norton 360 using the Norton Removal Tool. The system came with a trial version of Norton 360, which had been converted to a full subscription. No other security software has been installed on this computer. Subsequent runs of NPE.exe show no risks found.

To be safe, I uninstalled the audio program, and downloaded the latest driver from the manufacturer and re-installed. Subsequent runs of NPE.exe found no risks, except for an audio driver from HP. I followed the instructions in the forum for correcting. The last message I got before everything became inaccessible was a Norton 8504,104 error. All GUIs are inaccessible, regardless of how I access them. The Norton Taskbar and icon is not accessible - it disappears from the systray when I hover over it. The event log items look like this:Faulting application name: ccSvcHst.exe, version: 12.3.3.2, time stamp: 0x519ab0d3Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version. I uninstalled Norton 360 with Norton Removal Tool and re-installed a fresh download of the product. I ran Norton Power Eraser, no problem found.

The system is Win 7 圆4, all drivers and updates current. One of my PCs no longer displays any Norton 360 GUI when I try to open Norton 360, run live update, view recent history, etc.
